"So... What's your business?"

Know how to answer this question in a way that you achieve closing a new deal each time you say it.

If you’re a small brand owner like me, i’m pretty sure sometime you’ve heard a question like this

“What does your brand do?”

And either you stayed in blank without knowing what to say, or you started yapping about non-interesting shit that bores the person you’re talking to.

This can make you look unprofessional and without knowing what does your brand do, and even losing a potential customer.

If this happens to you regularly, stay. This is gold for you.

Let’s start with some examples:

“What’s your brand?”

Instead of:

“My brand is a social media marketing agency, it's called Markazi Media, with 2 customers rn”

Say:

“Markazi Media is a SMMA that helps entrepreneurship coaches that want to get popular on medias and get more clients while saving valuable time.”

You can notice that instead of only saying the kind of business, I mentioned the targeted audience too.

I added information and I explained it in a rather clear, easy and persuasive way.

Grab a piece of paper and a pen and start writing it with your brand’s information.

Done?

Alright.

Let’s move on to the next step.

“What do you sell?”

If someone asks you this, DO NOT be mentioning complex names that you only know.

Be the most clear and understandable possible.

Instead of:

“We offer copywriting, monthly content plan, and deep audience research”

Say:

“We increment sales and insights by investigating your audience, a full strategy and content creation”

Simple. And with terms that anyone can understand.

Remember that this brand presentation must be as simple, informative and short possible.

Imagine that you’re in an elevator with someone and you must explain to them everything about your brand in less than 10 seconds,

You’re in the elevator and you’ll have to use this that I just explained to you.

Trust me, and when I say trust me, I don’t lie.

That if you use it, 100% you’re closing the deal, or at least, getting the person interested.

Making you seem professional and that you know what you’re doing.

Stay hard.
